There, between the truth and a dream, old and new, stories of everyday life emerge, usually hidden under the carpet, but always present and part of who we really are as individuals and as a society.
“How easily does one reach one’s limits? How much of a threat is diversity? How willing are we to make a world for everyone?” These are just a few of the questions that make up a spine of stories, with everyday characters that are very much like each of us, and are presented in a comedic and tragic way in the theatrical performance “Wild Tales”, written and directed by Stelios Theocharous.
Four actors, sometimes laughing and sometimes crying and accompanied by the music of Julio Komboloi , undertake, through improvisation, narration, play and song, to present us with short stories of savagery as well as some “shots of zivania” in order to move, entertain and reflect… We all seek happiness, but how willing are we to share it?
“This place and its people, and the stories begin in the squares and the cafes.”
